Overcome Emotional Eating with Scripture-Based Coaching and Mindset Change

Renew Your Mind. Nourish Your Body. Find Peace with Food.

You were not created to live trapped in the same exhausting cycle of overeating, restriction, and guilt.

Christ came to set you free and his plan for you is victory - but it’s not through food rules, restriction, or more willpower.

Elimatiating trigger foods, pre-planning your meals, and praying for more self-control only get you so far. Before long, the cravings intensify, the restriction backfires, and you’re left with the familiar pattern—binging, physical discomfort, and shame.

That’s because restriction, accountability programs and food rules only change your behavior; they can’t transform your heart.

And if your heart still believes that food is your comfort, escape, or reward, no nutrition plan or amount of willpower will ever be enough.

Lasting freedom begins when you renew your mind through God’s Word, learn to tune in to your body’s signals, and nourish yourself with real food—the way God designed.

Overcome Overeating is for the Christian woman who:

  • Feels out of control around food and often eats to cope with emotions or stress.

  • Tends to eat past fullness and feels regret or frustration afterward.

  • Has tried different diets, programs, or therapy, but always ends up back where she started.

  • Constantly thinks about food, calories, or her body.

  • Wants to honor God with her eating patterns but doesn’t know how to stop the cycle.

  • Longs to feel peace, joy, and freedom with food again.

How it Works: Jen’s 4-Step Approach

In this one-on-one, Christ-centered coaching program, we’ll walk through a four-step framework that helps you undestand why you turn to food, reframes limiting beleifs, empowers you to walk in obedience to God, and builds a healthy mindset around what food can do for you and how to honor your body with what it actually needs.

1. Discover Your Triggers
Identify when and why you turn to food—whether it’s emotional stress, social settings, certain foods, thoughts, or even blood sugar imbalances. Awareness is the first step toward freedom.

2. Renew Your Mind with Truth
Replace false identities and limiting beliefs with God’s truth. Through Scripture-based prayers and daily affirmations, you’ll begin to reshape how you see yourself and the power of the Holy Spirit in you to overcome temptation to overeat or cope with food.

3. Nourish and Listen to Your Body
Eat real, nutrient-dense foods that stabilize blood sugar, support a good mood, and reduce cravings. Learn to eat mindfully, listen to your body’s signals, and stop eating before you’re stuffed.

4. Build New Habits and Neural Pathways
Create new coping skills and healthy rhythms that help you respond to triggers and temptation with prayer, clarity, and self-control. Over time, you’ll literally rewire your brain for lasting change.

Your Transformation & Results

By the end of this journey, you’ll:

Feel peace and freedom around food instead of anxiety and guilt.

Jen was a wonderful coach to me! What I appreciated most were the personal questions she would ask. It would help get to the, “Why am I eating this?” and “What feeling am I attempting to feel or suppress?” Jen is passionate about clean, healthy eating and lifestyle, but it’s obvious she cared about me as an individual. Since she didn’t approach coaching as a one size fits all, Jen was able to help me create sustainable goals that worked for me.

A Personal Note

I understand the battle—because I’ve been there.
For years, I struggled with binging, overeating, and guilt, trying everything from cutting out sugar to therapy and support groups.

Even with my best intentions—meal planning, avoiding temptation, praying—I still turned to food for comfort.

The missing piece? Praying God’s Word.

When I began letting Scripture reshape how I saw my identity, food, and self-control, everything changed. Shame lifted. My cravings lost their power. I learned to honor God and my body instead of giving in to emotions.

And now, I want that same peace and freedom for you.

That’s why I created Overcome Overeating—to help you transform your heart through scripture-based prayers, improve your relationship with food, and learn to steward your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
